I love Valentine’s Day because I believe in love itself. I believe in tenderness. In intentionality. In showing up with care. I believe love is something you practice, not something you wait for. It’s something you live out in how you treat people, how you speak, how you give, and how you choose kindness even when it would be easier not to. To me, Valentine’s Day isn’t about lack. It’s about abundance. That you can celebrate beauty, softness, and hope without apology. That you can light a candle, pour a glass of wine, buy yourself flowers, and still be whole.True love, I’ve learned, is sacrificial. It’s patient. It listens. It protects. It gives without keeping score. And it never asks you to shrink yourself to be worthy of it. I love Valentine’s Day because it aligns with who I am. I lead with my heart. I believe in meaningful connection, not performative affection. I believe love should feel safe, steady, and kind. Whether I’m single or partnered, Valentine’s Day still belongs to me because love has always belonged to me. And one day, if I share it with someone else, it will be with someone who understands that love isn’t loud promises or grand gestures alone. It’s consistency. Presence. Care. Sacrifice. Until then, I celebrate love anyway. Because I don’t wait for love to arrive. I live as someone who already knows it.xoxo
Valentine’s Day is about love, and Jesus is the fullest picture of love the world has ever known. He loved the outcasts, gave freely, and showed up for people who felt unseen. His love wasn’t loud or showy—it was steady, compassionate, and self-giving.
Jesus spent his days healing the hurting, comforting the lonely, and reminding people of their worth. He loved without conditions, without expectations, and without keeping score. That kind of love changes hearts. 💕
So on Valentine’s Day, whether you’re single, dating, married, or healing remember this:
you are already deeply loved.
Jesus’ love is patient, kind, and always present… the kind of love that makes every day a little more like Valentine’s Day. 🌹
Write love letters to your significant other to make them feel loved. You can also write about what you loved about your day. When someone did something kind for you. Or just anything loving and positive. ❤️🩷
